Spatially, station 1 (29.1 ± 24 ng L-1) recorded higher mercury concentrations than the other three stations, being St 4 (20.6 ± 16.2 ng L-1) the one that registered the lowest mercury concentrations. Nevertheless, no significant difference was observed between sampling stations (Kruskal–Wallis, H3 = 2.43, P > 0.05).
