A similar proportion (around 19.1%) of the conservative consumers stated that they had always been on a healthy diet, which equals the average from the whole sample.
Almost half of the uninvolved segment (48.4%) has not switched to a healthy diet yet and a further 19.7% are not even planning to switch to it (together they represent 68.1% of the segment).
Health consciousness of the careless consumers is also below the average: almost 30% of them are not even planning
to change their nutritional habits.
If we consider those who have not switched to a healthy diet yet (although they may not intentionally avoid it), these two categories account for 64.0% of the segment.
The difference was found significant in each of the cases at p 6 0.001 level.
