The Amazon Brand Registry is a program for sellers who manufacture their own unique or custom products or have their own private label brand. Participation in the program delivers the following benefits:
Increased authority over your product detail page.
Amazon-issued unique product IDs (GCIDs) that replace the need for UPCs when listing your products on Amazon.com.
Potential reduction in matching errors that may occur during listing.
To be eligible for enrollment, you must fulfill the following requirements:
Be the manufacturer, private label owner, producer of branded white label products, creator of custom or hand-made products, or sole or exclusive distributor of the brand you are applying for.
Provide some form of branding on either the product or packaging or have a highly unique product.
Provide a unique key attribute (which is often as simple as a manufacturer part number, model number, or catalog number) associated with each product.
Note: At this time, the Amazon Brand Registry does not support products in the BMVD (Books, Media, Video, and DVD), Sports Collectibles, or Entertainment Collectables categories. We also have limitations on sellers who use the Add-a-Product tool to list their products.
Enrollment is simple. If you are interested in applying, please complete the online application. Once enrolled, you will continue to operate your seller account and add your products to Amazon.com just as you have done in the past.
