A regression analysis was conducted to determine the antecedents of satisfaction. The outcomes of the regression analysis reveal that four factors determine the level of satisfaction of consumers of both attraction and hotels (Table 5). The factors include visitors' expectation, perceived performance, assessed value and visitors' country of origin. Visitor' expectation and perceived performance have a strong impact on the hotel sector, compared to attractions. In contrast to this, assessed value and country of origin were found to be influential in shaping tourists' satisfaction of attractions more than in shaping their satisfaction of hotels. Unlike perceived performance, assessed value and country of origin, consumers' expectation has a negative impact on satisfaction both in attractions and hotels, which is in line with the existing theory.
