The combustion process should allow the wood to be burned completely
to avoid the formation of environmentally undesirable
components (Vos, 2005). In combustion tests using composite
wood materials, Tatàno et al. (2009) reported high emissions of
carbon monoxide as a result of incomplete combustion, as well
as nitrogen oxide emissions, which can lead to the formation of
acid rain. Therefore, composite board wastes should be fully
burned in special furnaces and at high temperatures (1000 C)
