The organising committees of Wiweks

The organising committees of Wiweksikkaram retreat have considered building a stupa
, the great 7
Buddhas’ stupa (6 previous Buddhas: Vibudsri, Sikkhi, Vedsabhu, Gagusuntho, Gonakhamano,
Gudsapra and the current Sakyamuni Gautama Lord Buddha). The stupa will have a worship space
inside. A Jade Buddha statue will be located inside as the principle Buddha represents Vibudsri
Buddha. The stupa will also enshrine relics of Buddha from the past, present, private Buddhas;
Paccekabuddhas (Buddha who has won enlightenment himself, but does not teach others) and
Arahants’ relics. Worship and practice of dharma will be supported by the power of Ratanattaya; the
power of Buddha, Dharma and, Sangha.
The tradition of building stupa has been continued since the Buddha’s era for the benefit of all
sentient beings who respect Ratanattaya. Seeing stupa and being faithful, worship and practicing
dharma are considered auspicious and result in human’s wealth, divinity’s wealth and Nirvana’s
wealth. Everyone is welcome to co-host this united charity.
May the power of the first Lord Buddha; Sikkhi-Todsaphon 1st , the 7 Buddhas, Ratanattaya and the
result of this lead us all to the prosperity of life up until being free from all suffering.
