The last solution to solve colon cancer is to undergo the Adjuvant Chemotherapy. Adjuvant Chemotherapy is a process that colon cancer patients need to do after the surgery. “Adjuvant Chemotherapy works by killing the small number of cancer cells that may have been left behind at surgery because they are too small to see by the eyes” (American Colon Cancer Society, 2014). The objectives of using the treatment by Adjuvant Chemotherapy are to control and to eliminate the remaining infected tumors at colon. This treatment is the ultimate solution because it can kill all the diseased cells, and it can also prevent colon cancer from occurring again or spreading to the other parts of the organ.
