“I didn’t think it was any of your business, Mckenzie.” That was the cue you both had talked about before doing this, you looked over at Lex. Your breathes mingling with one another’s, this feeling that you had couldn’t possibly be what you thought. You didn’t have a crush on Lex Luthor, this was a revenge tactic, nothing else. Since you couldn’t take the initiative to move those next few inches towards his lips, he did. The collision was like a supernova, a powerful connection that neither of you were ready for. You both pulled away with a gasp, his hand found your cheek and he pulled you back tongue first. You were shocked at how vicious he suddenly was, how this moment escalated from pure revenge to entertainment and then out of nowhere, something else completely.
You tugged him closer by the collar of his shirt, his hand caressing up the curve of your back. You had never felt so electrified, so desired before. When you pulled away you both completely had forgotten that you weren’t alone. Lost in one another’s eyes, a promise, a deep love that neither of you knew was even there.
“Come to Bora Bora with me.” He muttered out, but really he was only staying with the act, what you both had rehearsed before coming here. He glanced over at Mckenzie, her jaw was taut and her fists were clenched at her side.
“Sure.” Which wasn’t what you had said you would say before all of this, before you kissed. “It was nice seeing you Mckenzie.” Then Lex surprised you, he crouched and wrapped his arm under you to lift you up in a bridal style embrace. You squeaked in surprise and he carried you out of the lab, dropping you onto your feet when Mckenzie wasn’t in sight.
