802.11 wireless standardization was first issued by the IEEE in 1997 with a range of 2 Mbps. Along the years, in the revision of the 802.11 standard to be the most widely used 802.11b with a frequency of 2.4 GHz with a range of 11 Mbps. For standard 802.11 a, the potential for up to 54 Mbp bandwidth operating at a frequency of 5 GHz. Another wireless networking standard is 802.11 g standard that uses a frequency of 2.4 GHz which has a transmission speed of 54 Mbps to 108 Mbps. Standard 802.11 n wireless technology is the fastest, because it can handle data transfer up to maximum speed of 300 Mbps.
