Morning everyone! Zac here and I thought I'd start the morning off with another discussion post about a question that has been lingering on everyone's mind... Where the heck is Michonne?!?
It's been about 8 issues since we have seen her and we know very little to nothing about what happened to her so here is three theories I came up with so please share your thoughts as well!
Theory 1. Michonne had falling out with Rick.
This one seems like a stretch considering Michonne looked very happy at the conclusion of All Out War. She was a firm believer in Rick and all his decisions, and it's clear Michonne planned on leaving with Ezekiel over to the Kingdom. Things have gone very well for the Hilltop and Alexandria, we haven't seen how things have gone for the Kingdom and the Sanctuary just yet. Perhaps they got the short end of the success. Both factions have been rarely spoken about as well as Michonne.
Theory 2. Michonne is dead.
This is a good possibility, you see sadness in Rick's face when he tells Maggie that he misses Michonne. Everything looks great and the two year gap may have went without incident, but what if there was one final blow after the war concluded? Remember the final battle with the Saviors? Michonne was cut by a weapon that could of been covered in Walker guts, a method that was successful at thinning out Rick's army. It did seem like she was ok and healthy after the battle but what if immediately afterwards she fell Ill, the fever set in and Michonne had no choice but to die.
Or she could of died in any other way imaginable.

Michonne seems to be the only character who could live completely on her own. Her wit and lethal abilities make her a perfect loner of the occasion called for it. In between the two year period she could of had a disagreement with Ezekiel and Rick. By doing so she grabbed her trusty katana and went back on her own, possibly returning when we least suspect it.
