If there is sufficient natural
light in a room, don't reach for the light switch.
And if you'll only be
in the room for a minute, let your eyes adjust for a
few seconds and
avoid turning on the light – most of the time you re
ally don't need it.
If you do turn on a light, only leave it on for as l
ong as you need it.
And be sure to turn it off when you leave a room.
