The PLA dogbones exhibited anisotropy such
that the vertical print direction had a tensile stress of 55.3 MPa at a
failure strain of 24.5% while the horizontal print direction exhibited
a maximum tensile stress of 29.7 MPa at a failure strain of 16%. ABS
dogbones exhibited similar anisotropy in the horizontal direction
although at a lower failure stress and strain. Samples are representative
curves (the median) from a series of 5 tensile tests per
composition per temperature.
