Yes,I have been to your country. Made once a tour up country from Bkk ,Nakhon Pathom and north along the border of Burma to Mae Hong Son,Pai,Chiang Rai,Mae Sai to wat Ta Ton where I spent three nights before returning to Bkk through Pyao and some other places I cannot remember because we hardly stopped. I loved the trip and have been studying a little the geography,history and politics of your country. I have become quite familiar with the map of Thailand,but need a good teacher for learning language which I find intriguing,but,alas,so difficult,uhu!
