the long term. In this respect one might consider changes in the field of finance, the products that are
used, the structure of processes, staffing and the like. The developments that are mapped out, are
analysed and translated into implications for the information provisioning. What is identified as
implications for the information provisioning in the long term, serves as input for the eventual
formulation of information policy.
