There are several lepidopteran pests of apples in Korea. Of these, at
least six species reduce fruit yield: two internal fruit feeders (oriental
fruit moth, Grapholita molesta, and peach fruit moth, Carposina sasakii),
two leaf rollers (Adoxophyes spp. and Asiatic leaf roller, Archips
breviplicanus) and two leaf miners (apple leaf miner moth, Phyllonorycter
ringoniella, and apple lyonetid, Lyonetia prunifoliella) (http://
