The wai kru ceremony is a Thai ritual in which students pay respect to their teachers. It is usually held towards the beginning of the new academic year. The ceremony is held in June on Thursday. On this day students bring a bunch of flowers to their teachers as a symbol of their respect and readiness to learn. The wai kru ceremony 2014 at Ban Danload School took place on June 5th. Our students from Anuban 1 to Prathom 6 brought their flower bouquets such as "dok khem" (needle flower), ya praek (Burmuda grass) and jasmine garlands for the teacher.
