Uploading the Program From the PLC
Uploading refers to transmitting the program from the connected PLC to the FPWIN GR, along with the system register settings, I/O allocation, and remote I/O allocation.
The I/O comments, block comments, and remarks can be loaded only from the PLCs that have comment memory areas.
1. Connect your computer to the PLC from which you want to load the program (for more information, see the hardware manual of the PLC).
On the PLC, make sure the mode switch is set to "REMOTE" (uploading is possible if "RUN" or "PROG" is selected).
2. Click the window in which you want the program to appear in order to make it active.
Note the program from the PLC will replace the program existing in the active window.
3. Perform one of the following operations:
· From the menu bar:
Choose [Upload to PLC] from the [File] menu.
· From the keyboard:
Holding down the CTRL key, press the F11 key.
· On the toolbar:

A confirmation message will appear.
Select [Yes] to continue.
4. When uploading begins, the window will be automatically placed in the monitoring mode ([Online Monitor] will appear on the upper status bar).
After uploading is completed successfully, you will be asked if you want to switch the PLC to the RUN mode.
Select [Yes] to switch to the RUN mode, or [No] to keep it in the PROG. mode.
(The mode will not be changed unless the PLC is in the REMOTE mode.)
Note:
· To determine whether to upload the comments along with the program, choose [FPWIN_GR Configuration] from the [Option] menu.
Below [Program Access Mode], select either [Program Only] or [Program and Comment].
([Program and Comment] is selected by default.)
· The FPWIN GR suspends monitoring operation until uploading is complete.
