Add a test
Use the Test element to create a test with both true/false and multiple-choice questions. To add a test to a
course:
1. From the Courses list, click the name of the course you want to use. The Edit Course Details window for the
course is displayed with a task list.
2. Click Manage Course Elements from the list. The Course Elements list is displayed.
3. Click Add a Test. The Add a Test window is displayed. Enter the general information for the test. The fields
with asterisks are the only required information.
4. Click the Save button when you finish entering information for the test.
5. The Course Elements list is displayed again with the test you added at the bottom of the list. The Edit
Element Details window is displayed for the test with a task list.
Adding questions to a test
You can add true/false and multiple-choice questions to a test. To add questions to a test:
1. Click Questions from the task list. The Questions list is displayed.
2. Click Add True/False or Add Multiple Choice, depending on the type of test question you are adding. A
window is displayed for that type of question. Enter the information for the question.
3. Click the Create button when you finish entering the information. The Questions list is displayed again with
the question you added at the bottom of the list. The Details window for the type of question you added is
displayed with a task list. DigitalChalk provides defaults for most of the items on the list, but you can click
through the list to see if you need to make any changes.
4. If you want to provide a response for correct and/or incorrect test answers, click Feedback from the question
task list. Enter the response(s) and click the Save button when you finish.
Grading
DigitalChalk provides a default for calculating a point value for each question. To see the default, click Grading
from the task list. The grading page is displayed. If you want to change the point values for test questions, enter
the new information and click the Save button when you finish.
