Cuong, the Bank’s Online Marketing Manager has been planning the Social Media Onboarding Campaign with Dotography and their local Advertising Agency.
They have defined:
• what customer segment they will target
• what product they will promote via the SMOS
• example calculations and data for product demonstration, via product calculators
• data for edu-mation, which informs prospects how their peers using the bank’s products
• what incentives the bank can use encourage their customers to send out open account invites to their friends, and what incentives the bank can offer to welcome to those friends who open an account
• a media plan that they will use advertise the campaign:
o they will use a series of emails sent out to their client database via MailChimp
o they will use Facebook ads and Google ads to target non-customers (who can also sign up for accounts and be rewarded, without receiving an invitation from a friend first.)
Cuong receives the email from SMOS to confirm that the system is now ready for campaign preparation.
