would like to update current progress of Minor project since our last visit to you on 4/8/16.
A) Project Update
1) The proposal for Minor is almost complete – 85%. For submission on 31/8/16.
2) Myself and my Solution Architect will meet up Minor on 15/8 & 16/8 for project briefing and site visit. Will not pay you a courtesy visit this round but will hope to do it on my next trip.
B) Project Arrangement With CU
1) As per our meeting on 4/8. We had sent over the HW specification and pending pricing from your end. I will leave it to your team to work on it and we do need the best pricing by 17/8/16(Wed). Since it is an OPEX model, our financial calculation is a bit complicated, hence more time needed here.
My Pending part of proposal(15%) mainly left over 1) 2) & 3) as below ;-
1) Implementation strategy – In Malaysia, we have sufficient resources, however, in Thailand we are limited and language is an issue.
The implementation approach is very clear at my end. I am shortage of resources on implementation to 300 sites and I foresee I need a local resources of ~ 20 for a period of two(2) months.
I am wondering how could you help me on this area? It is a basic installation hardware task to the Pizza Store.
I would appreciate if you could provide me with the quotation for 20pax of technician for 2 months.
2) Maintenance Services ( hardware only)
We had send over the list (not 100% complete) for Ms Wilaiporn to view thru.
On maintenance services for hardware, i.e POS, Receipt Printer, Label Printer and Lenovo PC (at store), can CU commit an SLA of 4 hours resolution time ?
I will put 5 technical staff at Thailand for a year.
I) For the charges, we can go by cases. For every case, you give us a rate.
ii) or We can go for fixed yearly maintenance and I would need to have your charges.
3) Help Desk Services
1) We need a help desk service from 10am – 12am ( 7 days week)
i) It is mainly to pick up call, solve common hardware issue by phone and arrange engineer onsite if needed. (hardware)
ii) Direct call to us if it is software. For software, we will do remote diagnostic and this aprt is not a worry.
iii) I expect approximately 300 logs per day for first 3 months. It shall reduce to less than 50 logs after 8 months. I will put 2 help desk staff at Thailand for a year.
iv) Please advise what would be the rate on yearly basis.
