- Take part in setting the sales target devided into the brands in the short-term and mid-term
- Take part in planning the marketing strategy for each brand
- Make the total marketing plan for next year about product, advertisement, and promotion
- Make the annual sales target devided into the items
- Manage his/her subordinates to think up the new product or renewal plans, and proceed them to the launching and make them stable in the market
- Manage his/her subordinate to conduct the environmental analysis, such as macro environment, market environment, competitor environment and consumer environment, and accomplish it.
- Manage his/her subordinates to think up marketing-mix plan, make them conduct it , and check the effectiveness through researches (concerned with the advertisement, another dept. manager will be in charge of details)
- Manage his/her subordinate to prepare the documents for the retailers to present Glico’s marketing activities, and accomplish it
- Manage sales progress to analyze the gap between plan and instruct his/her subordinates to think up recovery plan
- Manage profit & loss progress to analyze the gap between plan, and instruct his/her subordinate to think up recovery plan
- Create a culture among his/her subordinate to try thinking and acting indepently
