The Critic in the Storm
Edward Grimsley, the world-famous detective, was spending his vacation on a small Caribbean island. There were beautiful beaches and facilities for water sports and other recreation near his hotel. In addition, at Grimsley’s hotel there was a meeting of people in the restaurant business. Thus, because Grimsley enjoyed good food almost as much as he enjoyed a good mystery, the island was the perfect place for Grimsley’s vacation. The only disadvantage was the time of year; the hurricane season.
