Prior to starting up the LPG column, the molecular sieve beds of the LPG Treaters have been regenerated to remove any adsorbed water from the beds. Since cooling liquid was not available at that time, the beds were blocked in and allowed to cool naturally.
In order to put the bed cooling system in service, it is necessary to pressure up and fill the LPG product line at least as far as the tee Strainers, SP/2107-001, downstream the treaters. Any vapor generated by opening KV-015 and KV-057, and any non-condensables vented to flare from the LPG Reflux Drum, 2105-D-001.
Once the product lines are filled and pressured up, the LPG Treaters can be run through the normal cooling cycle. When both treaters are cooled and filled with liquid LPG, they should be put on automatic sequencing and the LPG product should be lined up to the LPG spheres for storage.
The LPG Recovery system including the LPG Treaters is now in stable operaion. Next is the LPG and Gasoline storage.
