Private and Hybrid Clouds
To solve the issues with public
clouds, cloud-computing providers
introduced the private cloud. This
cloud might be in the organization’s
buildings, in the farm of the organization’s
provider, or in another provider’s
datacenter. Usually, it will be
virtualized, but other combinations
are possible. The important element
is that only the customer’s organization
can operate it.
Because all private-cloud products
allow integration with public
clouds, we discuss both private and
hybrid clouds here. Table 2 shows
the main products used to create private
