I would like to follow up with you regarding the progress of Chic Republic’s front end design, and make sure that we are still on track.
In my first meeting with Net Design on 13-May, Net Design confirmed that the design of all front end pages will be completed by 31-May (this should include all changes from Chic Republic made) and that the overall Project is on track to launch in Sep according to the schedule proposed by Net Design at the start.
We’re now 3 working days from the milestone 31-May. I have produced the Heatmap below to have a better idea of the status of each page (note: this may not be the complete list of pages). Homepage is the only page that is complete. The pages highlighted Red below, we have not seen the 1st draft.
I would like to know your thoughts on this. Are you still positive that Net Design can deliver all pages with Chic Republic’s feedback made before 31-May? It seems that there are still many pages that we’ve not seen the 1st draft of. Also, I understand it’s a tight timeline, but please make sure that your design team:
1. Delivers the other pages with the same quality as the homepage
2. Please ask your team to reference at least 3-4 other furniture websites (both Thai and overseas), consider from a customer’s perspective and also from a business/operation perspective when designing the other pages. As an example, for the Contact Us page, the 1st draft provided to us was very minimal. If we do more study into other websites and have those customer/business considerations in mind when designing 1st draft, this will save both Chic Republic and Net Design's time in doing future updates.
Let’s talk more about this in our meeting tomorrow.
