1. Use a system. As we have already seen, many times, the first letters or syllables of words
or ideas can be formed into another word that will serve as a reminder of order. “Roy G. Biv” is an example. As an alternative, learn the following: I is a bun, 2 is a shoe, 3 is a tree, 4 is a door, 5 is a hive, 6 is sticks, 7 is heaven, 8 is a gate, 9 is a line, 10 is a hen.
To remember a list in order, form an image associating bun with the first item on your list. For example, if the first item is frog , picture a “frog-burger” on a bun to remember it.
Then, associate shoe with the second item, and so on.
