In reputedly low-key South Australia they don’t necessarily do shy trophy houses. This Fleurieu Peninsula home by the much-awarded Max Pritchard is embedded into a hillside but spears its dramatic roof projection into the sky and out towards the sea at the other end.
Using stone, which references the historic local material vernacular as well as every possible attribute of its setting, the house is otherwise haute contemporary; all glass, concrete, steel and sustainability. Such attributes won the Robertson residence the new home award in the SA lists for this year.
