Fourth stage is simply the implementation of the technology, i.e. the transition from mental to physical action or behavioural adjustment.
In the final stage, the adopter takes social feedback to avoid dissatisfaction or disappointment, and ensure that the decision s/he has taken is appropriate.
As shown in Fig. 2, adopters can be classified into five categories, on the basis of their ability to adopt. The first category is the innovators who play an important role in technology diffusion process.
This small percentage (about 2.5%) of the society first embraces the technology with their high level of knowledge and understanding about the technology.
This group is followed by the early adopters (about 13.5%) who are more integrated in the social system than innovators, and influence the potential adopters by providing advice and information about the technology.
