To develop such an algorithm for image analysis
that has the two basic functions mentioned
above, the three problems related to the grading
procedure can be identified.
1. How to accurately extract the beef rib-eye region
from an input image that completely includes
the whole beef rib-eye region.
2. How to deal with various noises that can degrade
the quality of a cross-sectional image of
beef carcass rib-eye.
