Could you give us a brief overview of CREFM?
One of the core principles of CREFM is simplifying the way we do business. By streamlining the 16,000 global suppliers we had previously down to only 2, we not only get global buying power and economies of scale, we are also driving savings through simplification.
In the CREFM team, we have brought in external expertise from the real estate industry to create a knowledge base. We can leverage this knowledge as we drive through our operations and achieve synergy between the three arms of CREFM – Real Estate, Facilities Management, and Fleet Management.
Each country is now managed by a Service Delivery Manager (SDM) who will coordinate between Syngenta and our suppliers to make processes more user-friendly for employees. They will also manage the suppliers and ensure that performance and service quality is maintained. The SDMs should be the single point of contact for Syngenta employees for anything relating to Real Estate, Facilities Management and Fleet.
