ANATOMICAL DESCRIPTION
Like other chondrostean fishes, †Condorlepis
groeberi (Bordas, 1943) n. comb. is a very slender
fish, with the peculiarity that the body is deepest at
the relatively large head and gradually decreases
in depth posteriorly, ending in a strongly heterocercal
tail with a very long body lobe that culminates in
a short cercus-like extension
