Brain activations were established using Neuro3D Software systems from Siemens, against an activation map comprising of t-Test images with significance levels set at α < .05.
Results subsequently indicated the presence or absence of hemodynamic chances, which were quantified as binary data.
Statistical analysis was directed toward identifying the associations between what participants consumed in a habitual fashion and the brain activations depicted by the fMRI machine, within the cerebral regions of interest (ROI) namely ventromedial prefrontal cortex, anterior cingulate cortex, ventral striatum, amygdala, VTA, retrosplenial cortex, and posterior cingulate/precuneus.
