thank you very much for the inquiry from Thai Yazaki.
We would like to reconfirm / recommend as following:
1. Customer requires a new conductor preheating unit with 100 kW and 3 coils.
2. Customer wants to replace the existing heating section of the CV tube, i.e. new splice box and 6 heating zones.
3. Customer wants to replace the existing line control board (shown in enclosed file picture 2) with our latest line control TILC-C3 (SIEMENS S7 PLC) used for CCV lines with 1 operating panel and 1 line PC. With that new line control also the temperature control would be integrated in the line control and the temperature control cabinets with control modules as shown on picture 1 can be eliminated. Changing the main PLC to SIEMENS S7 would require to change also the sub-PLC of all winders which have a local SIEMENS PLC as well (picture 3).
4. Considering the age of the line (delivery in 1995) and the request to already upgrade the line control / PLC we recommend to exchange not only the inverters and drive but the complete electrical cabinets of the entire line. This solution seems more economical than to integrate old electrical components into the new line control as we would need to evaluate the current condition of each cabinet / electrical component.
Please confirm whether our understanding is correct, we then will prepare our offer accordingly.
