Based on the conducted research into effects of
β-alanine supplementation to broiler diets on muscle tissue
quality and concentration of carnosine, it is concluded that
more efficient deposition of carnosine occurred in breast
muscle tissue of broilers within feedingtreatment containing
1% β-alanine (P3 group), while in thigh muscle tissue it
occurred already within feeding treatment with 0.5% β-
alanine supplemented to broiler diets.
