This screen shows a Tablature view of the active track. It displays the strings of an instrument. Notes cannot be edited on this screen. It is for display only. The top line represents the highest-pitch string and the bottom line represents the lowest-pitched string. The tuning of the strings are shown at the left, and can be changed by right-clicking the fret display. Time increases from left to right, but note durations are not indicated. The numbers indicate which fret should be pressed while playing that string, with 0 indicating an open string. With Anvil Studio's optional Print-Sheet accessory, this TAB notation can be printed using the File / Print menu. You can change to a Staff view or Piano Roll view by clicking and changing the TAB field, or be selecting Compose or Piano Roll from the View menu.
With the Copy-Me accessory, frets on strings are highlighted as the song is played, or when the mouse moves over numbered notes.
