The office has prepared a SIP action plan that involves applying SIP tools in Bibile ADP as well as a number of other ADPs. They have made it a priority to communicate SIP basics to operations, DME and sponsorship staff. Ongoing ADPs are conducting self-reviews to repurpose sponsorship processes to directly contribute towards child well-being. With the help of the evaluations team, WV Lanka has been able to incorporate sponsorship evaluation requirements into ADP evaluations and to train both sponsorship and DME staff on sponsorship evaluation. They have prepared a mainstreaming plan for FY15 to integrate sponsorship into the redesign of ADPs, beginning with sponsorship evaluations. They aim to roll out SIP processes with an action plan for each ADP with targets for Sponsorship as Assets change processes. All of this is being jointly implemented by sponsorship and DME, which is helping WV Lanka make sure that SIP becomes embedded as a powerful and sustainable part of its work.
