Among the obtained progeny, we
reared the all donor-derived albino fish for 6 months and then sexed
them by microscopic observation of their gonads as described in
Section 2.2. As a control group, we used the eggs from wild-type females
for artificial insemination with milt from sex-reversed XX males.
We also performed sexing on the control group when they reached
6 months of age. In these progeny tests, we observed male off spring only
when female recipients produced Y eggs derived from transplanted
spermatogonia.
