Counseling
After exclusion of high-risk groups, routine induction or
expectant management can be offered. Information must be
provided to the patient clearly documenting risks and benefits
of both management strategies, and the number of inductions
needed to avoid one SB (NNT) should be disclosed.
Counseling should be informative and not directive. The
choice of the patient must be respected. The terms used must
be easily understood by the patients.
