The large pot is sized to fit one of each of the 4 cacti in this collection (or you can mix
and match with the cacti in Cactus Collection 1). If you’d like to create a unique cactus
garden, you can squeeze 1 or 2 additional cacti into the pot, or reduce it to only 3 cacti (it
would look sparse with less than 3).
Arrange all your cacti on the soil before you start to stitch them down, positioning them
so that the ‘front’ of each cactus (the prettiest side) faces the same direction as the neatest
side of your pot.
When you have an arrangement you like, you might want to make a note or quick sketch
of the position of each cactus, so you don’t forget later. Remove all the cacti except one,
and use a yarn needle and the long yarn end from the cactus to stitch the base of the
cactus to the soil, all around the open ends of the cactus.
Repeat for each cactus until they are all stitched into place.
