Fusarium species are filamentous fungi with an ubiquitous
distribution. They are very common plant pathogens and can
grow on plant debris and in soil where they can persist
sometimes for several years. This generus is economically
important because it includes plant pathogenic strains and
strains able to produce mycotoxins, which can have an impact
on human and animal health (Merhej et al. 2011), on food
security (Woloshuk & Shim 2013) and even on biological
invasion of caves (Bastian et al. 2010). Among these ascomycetes,
the Fusarium oxysporum species complex (FOSC) is a
