blended learning is also unique and requires new methods of instruction, content development,
and professional development. Online program leaders know that they cannot simply use face-toface
teaching methods in an online class, and vice versa. In addition, as content delivery becomes
increasingly digital and online, assessments will need to be designed to test for content presented in
various formats.
