3.4.3 Intracellular lipid production by the mixed fungal species culture
Table 9 shows the distribution of intracellular lipids in different chemical classes
during the exponential phase. There are 15 chemical classes o f lipids characterized for the
mixed culture grown on all the three substrates. The most abundant lipid classes include
hydrocarbons, ethyl ketones, triacylglycerols, free fatty acids, sterols, acetone mobile
