• Drive 3 plants in Thailand, 3 in China and 1 plant in India for S&OP planning at tactical (18-month) and Strategic (5yrs) horizons. Ensure best practices at operational horizon, and S&OP decision is executed in the plants.
• Provide executive summary of supply situation for Asia zone to global team in France, and industrial director in Thailand.
• Optimize production efficiency by balance sourcing of production sites and staffing plan based on total supply cost and cost of production to maximize net margin per unit.
• Supervise Raw Material manager for S&OP, and guide RM sourcing plan to be aligned with Semi-finish production direction in Asian plants. Support and challenge flexibility of RM sourcing to remove blocking points in upper stream.
• Provide guideline for plants’ master planners to minimize total supply cost, master plan of production scheduling, transportation, man-power model and cost of inventory handling. Control SF inventory levels, tooling, packaging circulation and storage area.
• Identify the risks of supply from SF capacity or RM sourcing. Create Business Contingency plan, balance sourcing for “Make & Buy”, “Group vs. Zone competitive”. Validate Bridge of supply for flexibility and cost optimization. Lead crisis team to solve the risk of shortage and guarantee 100% supply of finished product.
• Deploying and controlling application of the Group best practices in all sites in the zone. Reporting and challenging the level of RM stock is respecting target.
• Leading supply chain improvement projects, provide training and mentor Supply chain related functions which deployed in Asian plants.
