The proposed triangular wave generator of Fig. 1 was
simulated with PSPICE using the AD844 CCII1 simplified
model [8] shown in Fig. 2. In this model, all the AD844
parameters are included. A typical output triangular waveform
obtained from the simulation of the circuit (with
C1 10 mF, R1 280 V, R2 12 kV, R3 66 kV and
C2 8:26 nF) is shown in Fig. 3 along with the square
wave generated at the output of the astable multivibrator.
The frequency of the waveforms in this case is found to be
0.42 kHz. This result is in a good agreement with the
frequency 0.43 kHz calculated using the derived analytical
formula given by Eq. (3)
