1. This study applies to GIS for zoning of Mae Yom National Park Management. The
environmental factor used for analysis were slop, land use, elevation, distance from office,
distance from villages, distance from roads and distance from river/streams.
2. Then the weight value of each factor was divided into 1 to 7, according to their
important sequence and to their expected importance in causing 5 management zone. The higher
weighting value the more important factor and relative to management zone. Each factor was
partitioned into 3 to 5 sub-factor and each sub-factor was ascribed a ranking value. In this study,
set of ranking value was divided into 1 to 3. A higher ranking value, the more relative the
particular sub-factor to the occurrence of each management zone. (Table 1)
