3.2. Phylogenetic relationship based on molecular criteria
Phylogenetic analysis of ITS1/ITS4 amplicon sequences showed that the analysed strains are distributed in three lineages which are in accordance with the differentiation obtained by studies of morpho-physiological features (Fig. 1). Four isolates out of the six studied were assigned to three different species T55 and TH2 clustered separately from other strains that were identified to species level and with strains designated by Kosanovic et al. (2013)
as Trichoderma sp. group 3, which is in agreement with data obtained by classical mycological studies. The results of both morphophysiological and molecular studies confirmed that the isolates designated as Trichoderma sp. group 3 are different from the other tested isolates of the genus Trichoderma.
