This paper quantifies the locations and rates of late Quaternary deformation in the Cape Region of coastal west central Australia. Elevations of paleo-shoreline features collected from 13 sites along a 300 km section of coastline provide evidence of tectonic deformation since the LIg MIS 5e sea-level highstand (~130 to 117 ka). The elevations of the paleo-shoreline features indicate that late Quaternary deformation patterns are consistent with the longer term patterns of late Neogene to Quaternary folding.
