The future trend of the industrial sector energy demand is
projected based on the variation of independent parameters including GDP, and price of energy carriers such as electricity,
natural gas, diesel fuel, and propane. In the “business-as-usual”
scenario (CPS), prices of energy careers remains constant, while
GDP grows with its usual trend. According to the ANN model
prediction using CPS, the total consumption of the industrial
sector is expected to increase to 35,500 Trillion Btu by 2030. This
value is approximately 16% higher than the corresponding value in
2012.
