Total eCommerce spend in South Korea is forecast to hit USD $25.3
billion in 2017, a 33% rise from 2013, according to eMarketer in 2014.
Online sales made up 13% of the total retail spend, with an additional
2% coming from mobile commerce. This led to the eCommerce
marketplace growing by 9.3% to reach an estimated 25.4 million online
shoppers and is expected to grow to 75% by 2015 (Euromonitor, 2013).
