Neurofibromas originate from endoneural and perineural connective tissue and are rick in connective tissue components. They occur at the roots of cranial and spinal nervess, spinal root and ganglia, peripheral nerves and sympathetic nerves. They are fairly common and have been seen mainly in cattle and dogs (Fankhauser et al., 1974). A case of peripheral neurofibroma in a bull was reported by Banga et al. (1990). Prasuna and James Christopher (2002) described a case of neurofibroma over the perineum of a she buffalo. Bovine squamous cell carcinoma, epidermal plaque and papilloma are the most common occular tumours of the domestic animals and the most important from the economic point of view (Kircher et al., 1974). There were no reports in the available literature on the occurance of occular neurofibromas of animals. The present paper deals with two cases of occular neurofibromas in she buffaloes
